Handgun Retention & Handgun Disarming

Handgun Retention

Handgun Retention introduces the student to the concepts and methods of defending against hostile attacks on the drawn and holstered handgun.  Topics include reactionary gap maintenance, holster selection, holstered retention concepts, drawn retention concepts.

Handgun Disarming

Handgun disarming is designed to introduce the student to the concepts, methods and techniques involved in the disarming of an opponent who is holding the student at gunpoint.  Topics include psychological disarming opportunities, verbal preparation, hand placement, front disarming, rear disarming, follow up controls and stunning.

 

Participants must be 16 years of age or older.  16-18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
