SGC Challenge
The SGC Challenge match is held on the first Wednesday of every month at Scottsdale Gun Club. SGC Challenge competition focuses on the defensive and practical side of shooting. Cover is constantly utilized, and tactical engagements are stressed. The premise of this competition all revolves around the practical defensive style of shooting. SGC Challenge shooters cannot use "race guns" to compete; all shooters must use a practical gun (i.e. Glock, Beretta, 1911, Sig, XD, etc), and they must utilize a concealable holster (paddle holster, Serpa, Galco, etc). Competitors also need to have extra magazine holders, at least four magazines, a cover vest or shirt, and roughly 200 rounds. Scottsdale Gun Club regularly stocks all of the gear you need to participate.
