Description

The Blackout Defense AR-15 was designed from the ground up for stability and precision. At the heart of the rifle is the patented Blackout Defense lower receiver featuring our Presslock™ Technology, which consistently applies six pounds of back pressure on the upper to create a rigid base that is still easy to field strip. In addition, the receivers are machined from billet 7075-T6 aerospace-grade aluminum, which offers strength and rigidity over the more commonly used 6061 aluminum.

The match-grade barrel is machined from 416R stainless steel, which offers superior abrasive resistance over the more commonly used 4150 chrome-molly steel. All firearms are hard coat anodized and then finished with custom Cerakote paint to provide further corrosion resistance and to facilitate heat dissipation.
