DRAW FROM CONCEALMENT

DESCRIPTION

Drawing from concealment is a learned art. From where is the most comfortable place for your firearm to making a full correct draw.  This class will help you with your EDC and help you understand the why’s and how’s of your draw.

You will have the opportunity to work on your draw, marksmanship and mindset in this course.

Questions to consider:

  1. Where on my person do I carry my firearm?
  2. How do I get to it?
  3. Am I showing the world I have a gun on me?
  4. How do I get the gun out of my holster correctly?
  5. How fast do I have to be?
  6. How many extra magazines do I need to carry?
  7. How do I reload my gun?
  8. What if I have a malfunction?

HOLSTER QUALIFICATION REQUIRED FOR DRAW FROM CONCEALMENT CLASS! Get holster-qualified here! 

*Only members are allowed to holster-qualify for range use.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Open mind!
  • Note-taking equipment
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Eye and hearing protection (available on request)
  • Handgun
  • Must be competent in operating your handgun, do NOT bring a handgun you have never fired before
  • Well-constructed, strong, side holster made of Kydex or leather
  • Closed-toed shoes
  • Sturdy belt
  • Moderate physical ability
  • 150 rounds of ammunition (can be purchased before class at SGC)
