DESCRIPTION
So, you are new to firearms and you’re not sure what the next step is. You start to ask yourself what am I supposed to do now? Where do I keep it? How the heck do I even load this thing? You watch a couple of videos or maybe talk to your friend who says they know how to shoot. Neither of those avenues really answer your questions. And here is the really scary part: These aren’t the hard questions yet.
If you have a new firearm and you are not sure what to do next this class will be very beneficial to you. We will spend time on how to make the firearm work. Where to store your gun and the fundamentals of shooting. How do you carry it? What is your mindset when you’re armed? We will have an honest and open discussion on rules of engagement (not the Hollywood version).
This is a 2-hour class that will include 15-20 minutes of range time to get you started.
You will get a better understanding on how to load and unload your firearm. We will discuss the universal safety rules and help you understand the fundamentals of shooting.
By the end of the class our desire is for you, the new gun owner, to feel more comfortable with your firearm.

- Note-taking equipment
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Eye and hearing protection (available on request)
- Bring your new firearm in a case
- 50 rounds of ammunition (can be purchased before class at SGC)
**No loaded firearms allowed in the classroom. Please bring them already cleared**
