Comfortable and sleek replacement of the standard wood or plastic hand guards for the AK-type rifles. The hand guard extends by 7 inches past the standard AK hand guards allowing for more shooting stance options.
The 3 inches of Picatinny rail provides space to punt optics and accessories. The low profile of the rail will allow co-witness with various optics.
The cooling holes allow the rail to run cool, even after extended firing and will not be effected by heat the way wood or plastic hand guards are. The cooling holes also allow the use of Troy Rail Sections for additional versatility.
Machined from hardened aircraft aluminum with stainless steel components and finished in MIL-SPEC hardcoat anodizing. The hand guard is designed to be used with both stamped and milled receiver AKs which use a standard length hand guard and the sling mount on the hand guard retaining band. May not fit all AK variants, please contact if unsure of fit. Any modification to product will void all warranty. The Bottom Rail will work with factory gas tube/top hand guard, independent of the Troy Railed Gas Tube. Replaces factory hand guards easily; no gunsmithing required.
